The State of Arizona is seeking a skilled and detail -oriented Data Analyst to join to support statewide efforts to end veteran homelessness as part of the Homes to Heroes initiative. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting and synthesizing data from existing data bases in three areas, veteran and homeless veteran population demographics, financial, and service related resources allocated to homeless veteran initiatives.
This data will provide a baseline of the current demographics of veterans experiencing homelessness in Arizona and the financial and service resources allocated across the state. From this baseline the Data Analyst will work collaboratively with internal and external partners to identify trends and make annual projections for the future ten years.
The annual projections will be focused on determining gaps in resources or if the resources will be sufficient to house all veterans. Your analyses will play a critical role in our development of a comprehensive state plan to end veteran homelessness.
If you have a passion to utilize your Data Analyst skills for a social purpose, this opportunity would be a great fit.
