Openwork is currently engaged in a search for a Counter Sales / Inside Sales Associate in Corpus Christi. This role is responsible for directly generating revenue by guiding customers through product features, understanding their needs, and recommending appropriate solutions. You'll deliver exceptional customer service while efficiently processing orders and supporting daily warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate strong product knowledge to assist customers in person, by phone, or via email
- Provide prompt, courteous service to increase customer satisfaction and drive sales
- Safely handle products and load them into customer vehicles
- Restock and organize merchandise, maintain displays, and perform general housekeeping (sweeping, mopping, etc.)
- Perform accurate data entry related to customer orders, inventory, quotes, and pricing
- Clearly communicate store policies including returns, credit terms, and purchasing guidelines
- Actively listen to customer concerns and resolve issues as needed
- Conduct regular cycle counts and support inventory accuracy
- Willingness to learn and operate a forklift (training and certification provided)
- Maintain relationships with existing customers to support after-sale service, repeat business, and cross-selling opportunities
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for the duration of the shift
- Solid reasoning and problem-solving skills
- Must pass a background check and drug screen
