Renewable Energy Technical Lead

P B Hoidale Co Inc is currently seeking to fill the role of a Renewable Energy Technical Lead. This pivotal role demands a combination of strategic insight and hands-on expertise in the field of renewable energy. The chosen candidate will be tasked with the challenge and opportunity to lead and guide our team in optimizing and expanding our renewable energy product lines.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-level strategies and implementation plans to improve the performance and profitability of our renewable energy portfolio.
• Provide in-depth technical guidance and consultation to project teams, involving solar, wind, and other renewable energy technologies.
• Lead innovative activities to solve technical issues and challenges, targeting increased efficiency and effectiveness of our renewable energy operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess environmental and regulatory compliance, ensuring projects are aligned with current industry standards and guidelines.
• Process and analyze industry-related data to improve decision-making and guide the strategic planning process.
• Conduct training sessions to develop the technical competence of team members in renewable energy technologies and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field. A postgraduate qualification in a related field would be an added advantage.
• Minimum of 5 years working experience in the renewable energy sector, with a solid track record of successful project completion and team leadership.
• Deep understanding of various renewable energy technologies, more especially solar and wind technologies.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to use relevant software for data processing and technical design.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.
• Ability to work well in a multidisciplinary team setting and to foster a positive working atmosphere.
