Freight Loader (full cargo aircraft loader)

Description:

The Freight Loader at Makers Air is responsible for safely and efficiently loading, unloading, and transporting cargo between aircraft, hangars, office buildings, and airport terminals. This role supports daily flight operations, assists with aircraft handling, and operates ground service equipment in compliance with FAA, TSA, and company safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Sort and organize cargo; prepare freight for shipment
• Load and unload aircraft between turns
• Transport freight between aircraft and designated facilities
• Operate ground equipment (cargo loaders, lift trucks, ramp tractors)
• Assist with aircraft marshaling and securing
• Support additional tasks required for flight preparation
• Ensure the safety of aircraft, cargo, equipment, and personnel at all times

• Knowledge of FAA and TSA regulations (or willingness to learn)
• Additional language skills are a plus

Requirements:

Qualifications:

• Must have the flexibility to work very early morning shifts (5:30am) including weekends and holidays
• Must be able to lift over 50lbs
• Valid Driver's License with clean driving record
• Must pass pre-employment screenings including a drug test and FAA criminal background test
• Minimum 1 year Freight or Warehouse experience

Working Conditions:
