Sales Manager
Drive sales growth and profitability for a corrugated packaging facility by managing sales initiatives, overseeing the sales team, and cultivating strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet volume, product mix, and profitability goals.
- Monitor market trends and recommend adjustments to products, personnel, and equipment.
- Lead and support the sales team by recruiting, training, and motivating team members.
- Maintain relationships with key customers and oversee credit management.
- Prepare and manage the annual sales budget.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in the corrugated packaging industry.
- 5+ years in sales and supervisory roles.
- Strong understanding of profit/loss analysis, estimating, and sales metrics.
- Proven leadership, team-building, and problem-solving abilities.
- College degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills:
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to analyze data, calculate pricing, and track key performance indicators.
