Neurology Physician

We are contracted with Boone Memorial Hospital in Madison, WV to find a board certified neurologist that is able to provide full time coverage on a locums basis for 6 months with an option to extend.

• WV license preferred
• BC / BE with a fellowship in Movement Disorders
• 8-10 patients per day
• All ages
• 5 days per week
• No call or weekends
• MD or DO degree

Fellowship trained in movement disorders (1 or 2 years)

Ability to obtain an active medical license in the state of West Virginias

Functions well in a team environment, contributing to and supporting organizational goals and initiatives.

Growing clinical and academic neurology practice

No inpatient responsibilities unless desired

Treatment model focuses on the use of pharmacology, surgical and non-surgical methods.

If surgery is required, a list of referral options is available.

No call

Out-patient practice can accommodate some general neurology, if preferred.

We have a strong neurology residency program. Teaching / education opportunities are available.

A fellowship in Movement Disorders is required. Qualified candidates should also be board certified or eligible in their specialty within five years of completion of residency; hold State of West Virginia and DEA licenses; and hold ACLS and BLS certifications.
