Location : Vassar Brothers Medical Center, Poughkeepsie, NY

Schedule : Day Shift | 7 : 30 AM – 4 : 00 PM | Rotating Weekend Days

Employment Type : Per Diem

Hourly Rate : $67 / hr flat rate

Your Day-to-Day :

Evaluate and develop personalized treatment plans for patients with a wide range of conditions

Deliver engaging, results-focused therapy sessions

Educate patients and their families to promote continued success at home

Partner with nurses, doctors, and fellow therapists to ensure holistic care

Document progress and celebrate patient milestones

What You’ll Need to Succeed :

Education : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited physical therapy program

Experience : Hospital-based physical therapy experience preferred

License : New York State PT license (or eligibility with a temporary permit)

Qualities : Compassion, motivation, teamwork, and a heart for helping others thrive

Physical Requirements :

Ability to be on your feet most of the day

Some lifting and maneuvering of equipment or patients (up to 50 lbs)

Occasional exposure to clinical environment elements (e.g., noise, odors)
