Position Overview :

We are seeking an Attorney with 1-3 years of experience to join our dynamic start-up Revenue Cycle Management Company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospital claims and a solid understanding of hospital revenue cycle operations.

Responsibilities Include :

  • Draft, review and execute administrative and legal appeals for high-dollar, complex claims.
  • Analyze hospital claims and commercial payor contracts, managed care agreements, and governmental reimbursement regulations to optimize revenue recovery efforts.
  • Perform legal research and provide legal advice on current and emerging healthcare laws impacting revenue cycle.
  • Negotiate with payors to recover underpaid and denied amounts owed to hospital clients.
  • Manage and oversee numerous projects and competing deadlines.

Qualifications :

  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and 1-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Possess a sense of ownership and personal accountability.
  • Must be reliable and have a positive attitude.
  • Willing to work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Demonstrated interest in the healthcare industry.
  • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial health insurance rules and regulations.
  • Familiarity with MS Excel, Salesforce and various hospital software platforms, a plus.

    • Compensation & Benefits :

  • Salary Range : $90,000 – $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience
