Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an inpatient rehab position, requiring BLS certification and at least 1 year of experience.

Responsibilities

  • Inpatient rehab unit in an acute care hospital setting
  • Patient population includes orthopedics, transplant, med surg, neurology, and ICU cases
  • Day shifts with alternating 8-hour schedules : 07 : 00-15 : 30 or 10 : 30-19 : 00
  • Full-time, 40 hours per week on a 13-week assignment
  • First-time travelers are accepted for this assignment
  • Flu vaccination is required for all employees
  • Scrub color is not specified
  • Must provide 2 professional references from supervisors within the past 2 years

    • Requirements

  • Active state license required if applicable
  • BLS certification is mandatory
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent physical therapy experience
  • Skills in cardiopulmonary, geriatrics, neurology, oncology, and orthopedics are required
