Job Title : Elementary Teacher

Reports to : Campus Principal

Location : In-Person CASLV School Campus Las Vegas NV; Henderson NV

Position Type : Full-Time 10-Month (School Year)

Position Summary :

The Elementary Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction and creating a safe engaging and academically rigorous learning environment for students in grades K5. The ideal candidate is committed to student success equity and continuous improvement and is aligned with CASLVs mission to foster academic excellence and character development.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement standards-based lesson plans aligned with Nevada Academic Content Standards and CASLV curriculum.
• Create a classroom culture that supports academic achievement social-emotional learning and student ownership of learning.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of all learners including English language learners students with IEPs / 504s and gifted learners.
• Maintain high expectations for student behavior and academic performance through proactive classroom management.
• Use data from formative and summative assessments to drive instruction and monitor student progress.
• Collaborate with grade-level and school-wide teams to support student achievement and professional growth.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance attendance and communication with families.
• Communicate regularly and effectively with parents / guardians about student progress and classroom updates.
• Participate in school-wide events parent-teacher conferences and professional development.
• Uphold the values mission and policies of Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas.

This is an in-person role on a CASLV school campus. The work involves moving around campus interacting with students and staff and supporting both classroom and front office operations.
