Senior Business Analyst

Overview

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our Consumer & Business Banking Group. This position will need to analyze all kinds of transactions and use the data to enhance bank operations or build prognostic financial model. It will lead or provide advice on financial projects in addition to performing financial analyses. In this position, it will research and collect data from reports and through talking with teams and managers and come up with possible solutions.

Responsibilities

• Create analytical frameworks and perform detailed analyses on customer data to assist on developing sales strategies
• Illustrate comparison in analysis report and charts and graphs, and prepare reports periodically for review by the senior management
• Generate research reports before sales campaign on relevant topics, such as market forecast for potential banking products and financial services, prospective customer analysis, industry updates, economics and political outlook, and competitor assessment, etc.
• Summarize research findings and formulate written reports for senior management review
• Design and evaluate methods and procedures for collecting data after sales campaign, such as surveys, opinion polls, or questionnaires, or arrange to obtain existing data, and generate analysis report for business development reference
• Measure the effectiveness of marketing, advertising and communications programs and strategies by comparing actual results with projected outcome
• Conduct research on consumer opinions and marketing strategies, collaborating with marketing professionals, statisticians, media reporters and other professionals
• Gather financial data and compile statistical information for recommendation to the senior management; Synthesize complex information into clear and concise presentations, summarize and discuss recommendations to the senior management in analysis reports
• Provide other supports for senior management and interact with Consumer banking and Business Banking team, business partners, IT and other departments within the bank; Organize and coordinate regional management meetings and events
• May perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, computer science or equivalent education and related experience
• 3-5 years of experience in business analysis or a related field; banking or financial services background preferred
• Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
• Ability to create details reports and giving presentations
• Strong research, time management, and organizational skills to manage multiple projects and meet concurrent deadlines
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word)
• Strong proficiency in Excel
• Strong computer skills on coding and Power BI

Compensation

The base pay range for this position is USD $79,000.00/Yr. - USD $110,000.00/Yr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
