Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to oversee our tax compliance and planning activities. The successful candidate will lead a team of tax professionals, ensuring adherence to tax regulations while optimizing our tax strategy. The Tax Manager will play a crucial role in advising clients and stakeholders on tax-related matters, contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate tax compliance activities for the organization and its clients.
- Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, providing guidance and support.
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
- Review and analyze complex tax returns and ensure accuracy in filings.
- Stay updated on current tax laws and regulations, advising the organization on their implications.
- Prepare and present tax-related reports and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
- Liaise with external auditors and tax authorities during audits and examinations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation required.Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax, with a focus on public accounting.Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations.Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role is highly desirable.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Benefits
