Position Responsibilities :
Perform financial analysis and due diligence on prospective investments, including financial modeling, projections, returns analysis, unit economics, customer metrics, churn, productivity, and KPI assessmentPrepare investment materials such as charts, analyses, and investment memoranda for internal committees and limited partnersAnalyze market size, competitive landscapes, market segments, and relevant policy initiatives impacting investmentsResearch, source, and screen new investment opportunities through outbound outreach, networking, and market researchLead and participate in pitch and diligence calls, professionally representing the firm and documenting findings in internal systemsDevelop thought leadership materials, market landscapes, and whitepapers aligned to targeted investment themesBuild and maintain a strong network of investors, health systems, payers, and industry stakeholders to generate deal flowRepresent the firm at industry events and conferences to enhance visibility and sourcing effortsSupport limited partner engagement through preparation of meeting materials, updates, presentations, and advisory committee supportAssist portfolio companies by leveraging firm resources, insights, and network connectionsMaintain internal databases, exit multiple benchmarks, return analyses, and assist with administrative and internal process developmentExperience & Skills :
Required Experience and Qualifications :
College graduate with 2-4 years of relevant work experience in investment banking, venture capital, private equity, management consulting, and / or corporate developmentCandidates should be very detail-oriented, strong researchers, highly competitive, extremely passionate about healthcare and / or venture capital, have demonstrated ability to work hard, intelligent and curiousHighly responsive to internal and external emails and phone calls (nothing >24 hours) and a nothing falls through the cracks approach to processes
Excellent Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) skillsAnalytic and quantitative skills needed to review financial and market projections, balance sheets, and operating plans of potential and existing investmentsAbility to not just perform analyses but also present in a thoughtful, nuanced way with a story behind the presentation (versus a data dump of charts, tables, and pros / cons)Excellent verbal and written communication skillsCreative, self-starterCompensation $100k-$200k, Health Insurance, 401k, Paid Vacation
