Job Requirements

• Education Requirements: Completion of an accredited Radiologic Tech program with Ohio Radiologic Tech license \n
• Certifications Requirements: Active BLS, ACLS, and RCIS credential or Ohio RT license \n
• Experience Requirements: Minimum of 1 year experience supporting cardiac procedures in a hospital setting \n
• Other Requirements: Ability to take call with 30-minute response time, proficiency in cardiac anatomy, hemodynamics, and EKG interpretation, familiarity with sterile technique and radiation safety\n

Job Responsibilities

• Provide support to cardiologists during invasive cardiac procedures by scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring patients. \n
• Operate imaging equipment such as fluoroscopy and ultrasound to assist with diagnostic and interventional procedures. \n
• Maintain sterile techniques and radiation safety protocols throughout all procedures. \n
• Document all aspects of procedures accurately and comprehensively ensuring compliance with hospital standards. \n
• Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, assisting with room setup, turnover, and patient care as needed.\n
