License : OK or Compact license required.

Certifications : BLS Required.

Must-Have :

Meditech experience required.

Must be comfortable taking care of medical-surgical rehab patients.

Description :

1+ Years of Med-Surg experience is required.

Meditech experience is required.

The nurse will be expected to float to all medical-surgical floors.

Pediatric experience is preferred.

Previous charge experience is preferred.

Patient ratio experience is 6 patients per nurse at night.

Community hospital experience is preferred.

The patient age groups include adults and geriatrics.

Daily census is approximately 10 patients.

The unit consists of 16 rooms and 16 beds.

Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary.

Common patient diagnoses include stroke, acute debility, and fractures (healed / unhealed).
