Position Summary

The Floor Technician Supervisor oversees a team of floor technicians responsible for cleaning maintaining and restoring all types of hard and carpeted flooring. This position ensures that floor care services are completed efficiently safely and in compliance with company policies and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise train and schedule floor care staff; assign daily and weekly tasks and monitor work performance.
• Oversee and perform floor maintenance tasks such as stripping waxing buffing burnishing scrubbing recoating and carpet extraction.
• Ensure the safe and proper use of all floor care equipment and chemicals.
• Develop and maintain detailed floor care schedules and preventive maintenance plans.
• Inspect work areas for quality safety and adherence to cleaning standards.
• Maintain accurate records of staff time work completion equipment logs and supply inventory.
• Order and manage inventory of cleaning supplies chemicals and equipment parts.
• Enforce OSHA facility safety and infection control standards; conduct team safety training as required.
• Communicate effectively with facility management maintenance and housekeeping teams.
• Lead by example by performing floor care tasks as needed to meet operational goals.
