Job Title : Maintenance Technician - 1st Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician responsible for maintaining slicing, packaging, and press machinery and equipment. Specializing in food products such as sliced fruit, naked fruit juice, and other cold-pressed juices and produce, we require a professional with electrical experience, as well as previous GMP and refrigeration experience, to join our restructured maintenance department.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on machinery and equipment including slicers, packaging, and presses.
• Conduct mechanical repairs on conveyors, belts, bearings, gears, and pumps.
• Handle electrical repairs on single / 3 phase motors, fuses, relays, and systems ranging from 120-480v.
• Troubleshoot and repair refrigeration equipment.
• Engage in preventive maintenance tasks to ensure equipment reliability.
• Utilize PLC troubleshooting skills for efficient operations.

Work Environment

The position is for the 1st shift, operating from 6 am to 3 : 30 pm, Monday through Friday, with overtime available. The work is conducted in a GMP environment, requiring the use of hair nets, beard nets, smocks, steel-toe shoes, and safety glasses. Candidates will need to provide their own tools. There is no ammonia refrigeration involved.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milwaukee, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $38.00 / hr.
