Century Group is partnering with our client that is seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to manage the daily processing of accounts receivable transactions, ensuring deposits are accurately recorded and payments are received in a timely manner. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $21.00 to $26.00 per hour.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Manage assigned customer accounts to ensure timely payments and maintain account accuracy.
  • Report overdue accounts and payment issues to the supervisor for resolution.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers to improve collection efforts.
  • Post daily deposits to the bank and update records in the accounting software.
  • Reconcile customer balances with bank records to ensure financial accuracy.

Requirements :

  • Possess at least 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar accounting role.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
  • Utilize computerized accounting systems, spreadsheets, word processing, and email applications effectively.
  • Exhibit strong verbal, written, and listening communication skills.
