Position Overview
Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking a Technology Resilience Program Analyst II to support and enhance technology resilience and operational continuity for a Dallas-based organization. This role is responsible for assessing, developing, testing, and maintaining technology resilience, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies to ensure the organization can withstand, respond to, and recover from technology-related disruptions.
The Technology Resilience Analyst II will collaborate closely with Information Security, IT, risk management, and business stakeholders to identify vulnerabilities, recommend improvements, ensure compliance with resilience standards, and support recovery efforts during incidents.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct technology risk assessments and business impact analyses to identify vulnerabilities and potential points of failure
Assist with the development, maintenance, and testing of disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity (BC) plans
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of resilience controls and recovery procedures; recommend enhancements
Support incident response and recovery activities during unplanned outages or cybersecurity events
Collaborate with IT teams to assess system architecture and infrastructure resilience against cyber threats, hardware failures, and natural disasters
Track and interpret regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to technology resilience
Ensure compliance with resilience policies, standards, and frameworks
Prepare documentation, metrics, dashboards, and reports for leadership and stakeholders
Participate in and support disaster recovery exercises and resilience testing
Deliver training and awareness initiatives to promote a culture of technology resilience
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Risk Management, or a related field
2–5 years of experience supporting technology resilience, disaster recovery, or business continuity initiatives
Working knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud environments, and cybersecurity fundamentals
Hands-on experience with disaster recovery and business continuity frameworks such as ISO 22301 and NIST SP 800-34
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
DRII Associate Business Continuity Professional (ABCP) certification required
Preferred Qualifications
DRII Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) certification
Additional certifications related to resilience, risk management, or ISO standards
Experience conducting technology risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies
Familiarity with regulatory requirements impacting IT resilience (e.g., GDPR, SOX, HIPAA)
Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams
Strong documentation, reporting, and presentation skills
High attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement
Work Environment & Requirements
Hybrid work environment with occasional onsite days in Dallas, Texas
Participation in on-call rotations and incident response outside of standard business hours
Involvement in scheduled disaster recovery testing and exercises
Occasional travel for training or multi-site support may be required
