About the Role

ASRC Agile Decision Sciences (ADS) is seeking a motivated and innovative Web Developer to join our team supporting NASA’s mission‑critical systems. In this role, you will contribute to the development of secure, high‑impact web applications that facilitate collaboration and streamline workflow processes across the aerospace community. You will support both the creation of new tools and the modernization of existing platforms. Most applications are used internally to manage space‑related operations, and the role offers a unique opportunity to work in a mission‑driven environment with broad technical scope.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain web applications and internal collaboration tools

Redesign legacy code to improve performance, usability, and maintainability

Integrate commercial and custom components into unified application ecosystems

Design and implement database schemas, queries, and server‑side components

Develop supporting documentation, including requirements, flowcharts, and user guides

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders to define technical requirements and deliverables

Test, debug, and refine software in accordance with organizational standards

Technology

While applicants are not expected to have experience in every listed technology, familiarity with the following is preferred :

Frontend : React, Angular, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, jQuery

Backend : Node.js, Express, ColdFusion, C#, Java, .NET

Databases : Microsoft SQL Server and other relational databases

Platforms : SharePoint, Office 365, Power Platform

Tools : Git, Visual Studio Code, or similar development environments

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Four (4) years of additional software development experience may substitute for the degree

Two (2) to four (4) years of professional experience in web or software development

Strong understanding of object‑oriented programming principles

Experience in both frontend and backend development (full‑stack)

Proficiency in database design and querying

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Must be authorized to work in the United States

Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is required for this process)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in secure or government environments

Familiarity with financial systems or workflow‑based applications

Understanding of accessibility and compliance standards

Experience integrating with Microsoft SharePoint or developing Power BI dashboards
