We’re Hiring : Level 3 Sheet Metal Mechanic – Lead the Work

Location : Norristown, PA (Field-Based Role) | Pay Range : $34–$45 / hour | Full-Time

Position Summary :

We’re hiring a Level 3 Sheet Metal Mechanic who’s ready to own scopes of work, guide junior mechanics, and be the person foremen count on when the job gets hard. You know how to turn drawings into installs. You keep the job moving. You lead by example.

What You’ll Do :

Interpret and execute field drawings, layouts, and job scopes

Install ductwork, fans, curbs, and kitchen hoods with precision

Direct 1–2 mechanics on task execution

Coordinate with the foreman to anticipate next steps

Ensure code compliance and clean installs

Solve problems in real time without losing momentum

What You’ll Bring :

5–8 years of experience in sheet metal, HVAC, or mechanical installs

Driver’s license, clean record, and ability to work across multiple sites

Deep knowledge of duct installation, hangers, layout, and code

Ability to train apprentices and keep the crew productive

Zero tolerance for shortcuts — or excuses

Strong communication and task ownership under pressure

Pay & Benefits :

$34–$45 / hour, depending on skill and field leadership

Physical Requirements & Work Environment :

You’ll work on rooftops, lifts, and ladders, often in heat, cold, or tight conditions. This role requires lifting 50+ lbs regularly and staying physically sharp throughout the day. Safety is non-negotiable — so is effort.
