About the Position

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our collegial and collaborative team in Tucson, AZ. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a brand-new, state-of-the-art hospital and become part of a supportive, close-knit group of 6 physicians and 2 advanced practice providers.

Position Highlights:

• New facility: 18-bed Emergency Department with 16,000 annual ED volume
• Team structure: Two 12-hour MD shifts daily (7 AM – 7 PM), with additional APP coverage from 12 PM – 9 PM
• Schedule: 9-hour shifts, totaling 120 hours/month
• Patient acuity: Frontline triage and management of ESI 5s, 4s, and vertical 3s in a compassionate and efficient manner
• EMR: Epic

Requirements:

• Board-certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
