About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Information Security / CISO to lead its enterprise-wide security program. Collaboration with various teams to develop incident response plans, balancing security risk management with business priorities, and fostering a culture of security awareness are also key responsibilities. Applicants for the Vice President of Information Security / CISO position at the company must have a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, along with a CISSP certification. A minimum of 5 years' leadership experience in information cybersecurity, preferably in the healthcare sector, is required. The role demands a leader with a blend of technical expertise and leadership qualities, including the ability to anticipate future challenges, mentor a team, and effectively communicate security strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of security technologies, cloud security, and experience with security best practices. They should also be well-versed in relevant regulations such as HIPAA, NIST, and PCI, and have a proven track record of leading incident response efforts and managing security risks associated with third-party vendors.
