Job Description

Gastroenterology Opening in Portsmouth, Ohio Located 30 miles from Ashland, KY; 90 miles from Columbus, OH and 100 miles from Cincinnati, OH Position Details :

  • Full-time, permanent position
  • 465-bed medical center is offering outstanding opportunities for board eligible / certified gastroenterologists.
  • $700K Guaranteed plus productivity and quality / customer incentives
  • We also provide excellent benefits, paid malpractice, and a flexible work schedule that includes 7 weeks off and manageable call.
  • The collegial practice features 7 gastroenterologists, supported by a team of experienced advanced providers.
  • The health system serves a growing patient population of 750,000 in eastern Kentucky and southern Ohio. With a vast network of primary care providers, and referrals from 20 area hospitals, our gastroenterologists enjoy a vibrant practice.

Other program highlights :

  • GI physicians perform colonoscopy, EGD, EUS and ERCP (diagnostic and interventional), endoscopic resection, balloon enteroscopy, esophageal ablation and capsule endoscopy.
  • Two opportunities : the Kentucky position features manageable call (1 : 7), while the Ohio position has an option for NO call.
  • Surging referrals have advanced the construction of a new stand-alone endoscopy facility on our Kentucky campus.
  • EPIC electronic medical records system.
