Job Duties

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, encompassing physical exams and comprehensive medical history analyses
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through the interpretation of imaging studies and laboratory results
• Work closely alongside surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical treatment plans for each patient
• Provide intraoperative assistance, including preparing operating rooms, ensuring correct patient positioning, and facilitating the smooth exchange of surgical instruments during procedures
• Deliver exemplary pre- and post-operative patient care, including medication administration, wound management, discharge arrangements, and patient education.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a surgical emphasis is highly preferred

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
