Shipping Coordinator

Position Description and Purpose:

Roskam Foods produces and packages food products with the goal of consistently meeting and exceeding customer expectations for quality, safety, and wholesomeness.

Key Essential Functions:

• Running the day-to-day office task (making appointments, answering phones, etc.)
• Creating BOLs
• Assigning trucks to appropriate dock doors
• Instructing Hi-Lo Ops on their next priorities
• Checking truck drivers IDs
• Sealing trailers
• Creating switcher/shuttle moves
• Bulk Receiving- if at M2 or Mazda
• Completing yard/refer checks
• Verifying completion and accuracy of completed paperwork
• Customer Service
• Control the Flow of inbound/outbound trucks
• Any other clerical work that needs to be done
