Coordinator - Corporate Services Position No: 216026 Level/Salary: Level 4, $95,782 - $100,526 (PSCSAA 2024) Work Type: Permanent - Full Time Branch: Corporate Service Management - Specialist & Support Services Location: Midland Closing Date: 2026-01-09 4:00 PM

POSITION OBJECTIVE

This position coordinates the portfolios transactional corporate service support functions related to human, physical and financial resourcing issues in accordance with corporate direction and priorities. Assists with the planning and facilitation of various initiatives underpinned by corporate objectives and aligns policies, systems and practices in the portfolio with Corporate Service Management Division directives.

Applicants are asked to address the following nominated work-related requirements in no more than one (1) page:

  • Knowledge of HR policies, practices and procedures – Advising on and interpreting relevant human resource legislation, policies and procedures.
  • Financial and budget management skills - Supporting the financial function by providing budget advice to management. Coordinating, developing and monitoring budgets/financial plans. Undertaking financial forecasting, analysing and compiling financial information.

Applicants are also required to submit a comprehensive Curriculum Vitae (CV). Your CV should provide enough detail (dot points are sufficient) to allow the selection panel to assess your skills and experience relevant to the Key Accountabilities of the attached Position Description Form.

The CV must also include the names and contact details of two (2) referees who can comment on the applicant’s ability to satisfy all of the Essential Work-Related Requirements. Applicants should nominate at least one immediate (most contemporary) supervisor/manager unless exceptional circumstances exist.

OTHER CONDITIONS

Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other similar vacancies throughout the metropolitan area. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position, then the panel may select another suitable applicant from this selection process. Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from the initial date of the appointment.

Integrity and criminal checks will be conducted if the recommended applicant for a position is not a current WA Police Force employee. Any relocation costs associated with appointment to these positions may be the responsibility of the successful applicants.
