Medical Imaging Technologist Urgent Care SCMG

Summary

Performs radiographic examinations of various anatomical parts and systems of the body in order to assist physicians in the diagnosis and / or treatment of physical injuries or medical disorders. Under the general supervision of the physician(s) and / or Certified Registered Nurse Practioner(s) (CRNP), Physician Assistants (PA), assists physician(s), CRNP(s), PA(s) and staff members in providing optimal healthcare to patients. Assists with stocking and maintaining exam rooms, and clinical and clerical duties

Minimum Qualifications

• Registration or registry eligible by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required within one year of hire date.
• Completion of EKG training within 6 months of hire / transfer.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
