About the Position

LocumJobsOnline is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified Orthopedic Surgery NP in Iowa!

🕗  Schedule :  Monday–Friday, 8a–5p +  weeknight call only  (no weekends)

🏥  Setting :  Inpatient, ED consults, OR-based practice

🔍  Position Highlights :

Join a  busy orthopedic surgery team  serving as a regional hub for trauma, joint replacement, and fracture care. This is a high-volume, hands-on role with full support staff and access to surgical and diagnostic resources.

✅  Call :  Weeknights only, no weekends

✅  Procedures :  Total joints, fracture care, trauma injuries, sports medicine

✅  Support :  4 MDs (as of July), cast techs, nurse support, schedulers, reception

✅  EMR :  GE Centricity (clinic), EPIC (hospital)

✅  Teaching opportunities  with IM / FM residents + PA students

🛠️  On-Site Services :

Imaging, Lab, Pharmacy

2 exam rooms + 3 cast rooms per provider

Census : Mainly consults; hospital sees 160 patients / day

📋  Requirements :

🩺  Board Certified or Board Eligible  –  Required

✅  Active IA license or IMLC LOQ  –  Required
