Job Description

Govini is looking for motivated, curious, and data-driven individuals to join our team as Senior Implementation Engineers. Senior Implementation Engineers at Govini have a quantitative mindset and firm understanding of how to use technology and data to solve hard customer problems. Senior Implementation Engineers are responsible for developing new methodologies to answer client questions with Govinis data, leveraging quantitative skills to configure Govinis technology to achieve customer outcomes, communicate data-driven insights to executives in the national security community, and oversee cross-functional teams to produce compelling program insights, data visualization, and briefings.

In order to do this job well, you must be analytical, understand people, have a strong drive to use technology to solve the hardest problems, have business acumen, and want to learn everything, particularly about the most pressing national security challenges confronting the nation and how data and machine learning can help address them.

You understand the US Government and Defense acquisition processes and the importance of effective and efficient program management, supply chain risk management, and program and technology modernization. You ask hard, uncomfortable questions. You have a professional acumen that allows you to lead conversations with top government agency officials. You know there are always multiple answers to hard problems, and you know how to engage in a constructive dialogue to find the best path forward.

This role is a full-time position located out of our office in Arlington, VA. This role requires 75% travel to client sites across the United States - CONUS and OCONUS

Scope of Responsibilities

• Develop expertise in Govinis clients, offerings and data, and support customers as a Govini product and data expert
• Execute the successful implementation of software and data to Govinis customers and provide platform training
• Use coding languages (SQL, Python) to conduct technical platform configuration and data integration
• Build and manage client relationships
• Lead execution teams and / or workstreams
• Collaborate with Govini Engagement Managers and Product Managers to capture market demand and user needs for inclusion into Govinis offerings
• Proactively drive utilization of the product using targeted training and engagement strategies that drive mission outcomes and analytical insights for platform users
• Develop and maintain documentation such as tailored user guide reference materials
• Conduct research and develop quantitative analytic reports using Govini technology and data
• Orally and visually present data-driven findings in a concise and compelling manner to internal teams, as well as government officials
• Demonstrate knowledge in areas such as US Government programs and operations, federal acquisitions and program management, government procurement practices, supplier assurance, federal contracting, Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE), Supply Chain Risk Management, and Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) analysis.
