We are seeking a Locum Tenens Physician - Interventional Cardiologist in Nebraska.

Locum Tenens Physician - Interventional Cardiologist

Position Type: Locum Tenens
Specialty: Physician - Interventional Cardiology
Location: Nebraska
Rate: Open & Negotiable
Shift: Varied; weekday rounding and STEMI call coverage, weekend rounding and call
Start Date: May 22 or May 23, 2025
End Date: May 27, 2025 (with ongoing coverage needed in June)

Position Details:
Patient Population: Adult
Setting: Specialty Hospital Nebraska Heart Hospital and St. Elizabeth s
Responsibilities:

  • Inpatient rounding at Nebraska Heart Hospital and St. Elizabeth s

  • STEMI call coverage (Monday through Sunday)

  • Occasional clinic responsibilities if needed
    Required Procedures:

  • Heart catheterizations with stenting

  • Transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs)
    EMR System: EPIC
    Support Staff: APP support during days and some nights
    Days Per Month: PRN/Ongoing Specific dates beginning May 22
    On-Call/Weekends:

  • Night call Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday

  • Weekend rounding at both hospitals

Submission Requirements:

  • Board Certified Required

  • NE License or IMLC with LOQ in hand Required

  • Clean Malpractice Preferred

  • Availability at time of name clear Required
