Job Description :

Verdantas is seeking a Senior Substation Engineer to take on the challenge of designing new power substations and upgrading existing facilities from 12kV to 500kV. Youll be responsible for utilizing accepted practices and standards to ensure that all designs meet the highest level of quality and safety. This is an onsite supervisory role with direct reports including engineers and designers. You will be reporting to our Fort Worth TX office.

Responsibilities :

• Develop project plans including project scope of work and WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) for complex multi-discipline-based substation Engineering projects and EPC projects
• Manage Substation project execution including project scope schedule budget and project resources including external vendors consultants and contractors
• Effectively track and stabilize projects implement solutions to obstacles and ensure client goals are achieved
• Attend client meetings and communicate concerns and changes with the client to ensure a positive relationship and growth opportunities
• Prepare and review preliminary designs
• Prepare proposals including budgetary estimates
• Lead the development of plans specifications studies estimates material lists and other deliverables
• Ensure team adherence to QA / QC program
