Overview

We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. Your responsibilities will include managing reservations, greeting guests, and maintaining the flow of service in our restaurant. - Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated.

- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow.

- Communicate wait times clearly to guests and provide updates as necessary.

- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area.

- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service operations.

- Handle guest inquiries with professionalism, demonstrating excellent customer service skills.

- Utilize Aloha POS or other point-of-sale systems for reservation management when necessary.

- Maintain phone etiquette while answering calls related to reservations or guest inquiries.

- Previous experience in hospitality or food service is preferred but not required.

- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.

- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on guest relations and customer service.

- Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

- A positive attitude and a passion for providing exceptional service in a restaurant setting.

- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
