Recruiting Solutions is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team. As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient flow of materials throughout our facility. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials, as well as maintaining accurate inventory records. Responsibilities:
– Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against packing slips or purchase orders
– Unload materials from delivery vehicles and transport them to designated storage areas
– Organize and maintain inventory storage locations to ensure efficient use of space
– Prepare materials for production by picking and staging items according to job orders
– Assist with loading and unloading trucks for outbound shipments
– Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies with inventory records
– Keep accurate records of material transactions using computerized systems or manual logs
– Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to company policies and procedures
– Collaborate with other team members to optimize workflow and meet production deadlines
– Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe and efficient manner

Requirements:
– High school diploma or equivalent
– Previous experience in a similar role preferred
– Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
– Ability to lift and move heavy objects, up to 50 pounds
– Proficiency in basic computer skills, including data entry and inventory management software
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification
– Knowledge of safety protocols for material handling operations
