About the Role

The Licensing Manager will be responsible to manage the Company's regulatory requirements and Licensing team in support of licenses for X Payments and its entities in the United States and its Territories ("States") and globally.

Responsibilities

• Work diligently with the licensing team to safeguard the Company's licenses and must have NMLS experience and the ability to maintain a system of record.
• Organize the Licensing and Exam function into a sustainable function that is visible, efficient and discoverable.
• Work directly with regulators with business requests, surveys, and consumer complaints.
• Elevate the function with expertise and professionalism and establish a succession process due to the complexity of the function.
• Complete licensing forms and reporting; run transactional reports and work closely with Finance on monthly and quarterly deliverables.
• Manage plan and expenses; set up annual funding requests and forecast of assessments.
• Work closely with Regulatory and AML lawyers on new requirements due to changes in laws; responsible to send disclosure notifications to all regulators; maintain files as the Company's system of record.
• Manage bond vendor for all three licenses to ensure adequate and continued bond coverage.
• Work closely with the Senior Manager to manage exam requests and complete due diligence questionnaires.
• Develop relationships and a framework around the exam function.
• Apply for and manage all licenses both regulator and miscellaneous business licenses.
• Vet officers complying with different state requirements (MU2 in NMLS).
• Manage change of control and advance change notices seeking all state regulatory approvals.
• Assist with due diligence M&A create regulatory project plan and licensing transition plan.
• Safeguard sensitive officer information, litigation matters, court-ordered payments and arbitrage processes.
• Function as the Corporate Secretary and assist with the draft of board resolutions and schedule documents for approval.
• Help set up meetings and manage agendas for the Regulatory team.
• Travel as needed.
