Teacher's Aide

About this position

Job duties :

• Assist with classroom instruction and build a foundation in educational principles like classroom management.
• Develop strategies to support students of different learning abilities in reading, writing, and math.
• Support students in exploring career paths.
• Typically occurring Fall, Winter, and Spring (primarily during the school year but can work Summer, as needed).

Preferred Qualifications

• Have or desire to work towards a Teacher's Aide certification.
• Standard high school diploma or satisfactory completion of any General Education Development (GED) Testing Program or working towards earning a diploma.
• Previous food service experience preferred.
