PLC Controls Engineer ( City of Industry, CA ) Direct Hire Salary Plus Benefits Relocation Assistance Available Job Summary: This position will work with all levels of management. Programs, trouble shoots, modifies, maintains, upgrades (Electrical/Mechanical) and backs up all PLC and computer software associated with the production equipment. Works with Manager, other Engineers, PLC Techs, Supervisor, Mechanics, and Electricians to support projects, PM, PdM and repairs. 3 years' experience with Allen Bradley Required Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, and or Mechanical Engineering.Minimum of 5 years Electro-mechanical controls experience. Preferred Skills/Qualifications: Familiarity with the following industrial control communication protocols: ControlNet, Ethernet, DH+, Remote I/O, Device Net.Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical schematics, and combustion control systems.Knowledge of Windows operating system, PC/software configurations, and how PLC software works with computer operating systems.Fluent in AutoCAD & SolidWorks.Prior knowledge of aluminum alloy extrusionProven history of successful machine integration and automation.Experience with Allen Bradley PLC-5, SLC-, ControlLogix, PanelView and PanelView Plus
