Exciting Opportunity for an Automotive Paint Specialist!

We invite passionate individuals to join our team as Automotive Paint Specialists dedicated to delivering the highest quality paint application in vehicle collision repair. This essential role focuses on efficient and effective paint repair service delivery in our state-of-the-art facility. Your dedication to quality and efficiency will be integral to our success.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead all paint operations within the center.
  • Supervise and mentor the paint prepper team, collaborating with the Center Leader on recruitment, training, and disciplinary measures.
  • Establish and implement goals for the paint team, ensuring necessary training is provided.
  • Ensure the daily paint production schedule is met, as directed by the Center Leader.
  • Conduct thorough quality inspections on repairs and finalize paint quality checks before vehicles proceed to detailing.
  • Manage vehicle flow in and out of the Paint department efficiently.
  • Monitor spray booth operations and maintain all paint department equipment and tools in optimal condition.
  • Track and plan for paint shop supplies while minimizing waste and promoting efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean, safe working environment by promoting the use of personal protective equipment and adherence to hazardous waste compliance.

Performance Expectations :

  • Achieve a minimum Paint Gross Profit of 60% through optimal paint usage.
  • Maintain a Customer Service Index Score of 95+ reflecting quality service and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure efficiency in cycle times.

    • Essential Skills and Qualifications :

  • I-CAR Gold Class and ASE certification is an asset.
  • In-depth understanding of paint application processes for automotive collision repairs.
  • Ability to interpret and execute written instructions accurately and collaboratively.

  • Diligently adhere to all company Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Proactively seek opportunities to enhance the efficiency of the Paint department.
  • Participate in training programs to maintain and elevate technical and professional skills.
  • Uphold a clean and organized workspace, following 5S principles.
  • Availability to extend working hours as necessary to meet workload and customer demands.
