Position : Pulmonary / Critical Care Physician
Location : Sylva, NC
Job Type : Full-time
Seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pulmonary / Critical Care Physician to join well-established, high-demand pulmonary team. With a robust referral base and months-long wait for new patients, this opportunity offers an immediate impact in a stunning Smoky Mountain setting.
Opportunity Highlights :
- Mixed pulmonary and critical care position
- Blocked schedule : 1 week ICU coverage per month, other weeks split between clinic and consults
- Open ICU with shared coverage among hospitalists, critical care, and pulmonary physicians
- Interventional procedures and sleep medicine are welcome additions
- Call shared equally-no night call (hospitalists cover overnight)
- EBUS and bronchoscopy capabilities onsite
- Office located on hospital campus with satellite clinics in surrounding counties
- Excellent work-life balance in a rural setting
