[job_card.job_description]Bachelor's degree or equivalent required Master's degree in accounting or similar, preferred Big 4 or large regional accounting firm experience preferred 3 - 5+ years of tax experience with a focus on corporate taxation CPA or in process of obtaining ASC 740 experience Strong organizational and communication skills Strong Excel skills Experience with Alteryx is a plus Working knowledge of ERP systems will be an asset Knowledge of OneSource OTP and OIT
Trinity Industries is looking for a Senior Tax Accountant to join our team at our headquarters in Dallas, TX .

What you'll do :
- Preparation of year end and quarterly ASC 740 calculations
- Preparation of a large consolidated federal tax return and extensions
- Ensure timely payment of federal, state, and local estimated tax payments
- Research on various tax matters
- Responding to federal and state tax authorities on issues as they are identified
- Improve tax processes through technology
- Work with third party on outsourced state tax returns
- Work with third party on outsourced Canadian tax compliance
- Forecasting and planning on a monthly basis
