Facilities Maintenance Technician

Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Facilities Maintenance Technician for a company based in North Houston, TX. In this position, you’ll be responsible for maintaining all campus infrastructure, buildings, and grounds. This role may or may not include managing direct reports. You’ll source and oversee vendors and contractors as needed, interpret technical documents like schematics, and follow all applicable codes. Success is measured by timely task completion, minimal equipment downtime, and consistent preventative maintenance.

Pay Rate

$30.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours

Monday – Saturday (rotating shifts) sometimes Sunday as well.

7am – 7pm

7pm – 7am

OT is Mandatory, 60 hours per week guaranteed

Facilities Maintenance Technician Duties and Responsibilities :

• Hands-on role requiring strong knowledge of building maintenance strategies and technical skills
• Identify issues, propose solutions, and define repair scopes as needed
• Troubleshoot systems, find root causes of failure, and perform corrective actions
• Coordinate tasks and ensure vendors deliver high-quality service
• Maintain key assets including HVAC systems, plumbing, grounds, concrete, tanks, and general repairs
• Performance is recognized in a supportive environment with clear goals and opportunities for growth
