JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Day Dispatcher Level I in Clinton Township, MI. Our client is a growing mechanical company. The Day Dispatcher Level I is responsible for enhancing the operational flow between the customers, technicians, and management. The ideal candidate will excel in troubleshooting, managing a variety of tasks, and ensuring we meet our high service standards consistently.

Responsibilities of a Day Dispatcher Level I includes:

• Answer and respond to a high volume of phone calls, emails, and dispatch queues, ensuring clear and timely communication with both customers and technicians.
• Create detailed service tickets and ensure all information is accurately documented for each job.
• Dispatch and prioritize service tickets efficiently to technicians, making sure critical jobs are handled promptly.
• Manage multiple systems simultaneously, including spreadsheets, instructions, GPS systems, and customer portals.
• Alert management of high-visibility or critical issues, ensuring timely documentation and resolution. Maintain ongoing communication with customers, technicians, and management to ensure seamless operations.
• Close out completed jobs and activate billing in a timely manner.
• Oversee backlogs, reassign tasks, and ensure jobs are integrated into the daily workflow.
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team, maintaining productivity with minimal supervision.
• Effectively prioritize tasks and adapt to changing business needs with a positive and solution-focused attitude.

REQUIRED Experience and Education:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills when interacting with customers, technicians, and internal teams.
• Must be a reliable team player, able to collaborate with co-workers, supervisors, technicians, and clients.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while staying organized and meeting deadlines.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, and sometimes stressful environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel) and Google Docs is required. Experience with GPS systems and customer portals is a plus.
• High school diploma or state-recognized GED is required.

Hours & Availability:

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM.
• Holiday Requirement: Two holidays per year are required to be worked, depending on the operational needs of the business.
