Housekeeper (PT)

Job # : J2002

Location : EAST NORWICH, NY

Days : Mon - Fri

Hours : 10 : 30 AM - 4 : 30 PM (30-35 hours weekly)

Compensation : $30 to $40 per hour

Start Date : ASAP

An East Norwich, NY family is seeking a dedicated and dependable housekeeper who will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized household, providing transportation and support for elderly family members, and assisting with daily home and pet care needs. Ensures a comfortable, well-managed home environment through reliability, compassion, and attention to detail. There are 2 cats in the home.

Main Work Duties :

  • Perform daily house cleaning and general tidying.
  • Make and change beds regularly.
  • Drive three elderly family members to doctor appointments and other errands.
  • Handle grocery shopping and miscellaneous household tasks.
  • Occasionally clean and maintain a secondary home in Long Beach, NY.
  • Assist with food preparation and meal planning.
  • Support elderly parents with home activities and daily routines.
  • Feed and care for cats, including during family absences.

Required Qualities :

  • English speaking.
  • Clean driver's license.
  • Trustworthy.
  • Friendly.
  • Self-motivated.

    • Requirements :

  • Minimum 3+ solid years of housekeeping experience working in a private home.
  • Excellent references from both current and previous employers.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Must speak and be able to communicate well in English.
  • Authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
  • Valid Driver's license and clean driving record.
