Salary Range: $300000 to $370000 Per Year

Responsibilities

We are seeking a Venture Capital Associate Attorney with 4+ years of transactional experience to quickly integrate and support the firm’s Venture Capital & Emerging Companies practice. Key responsibilities include:

• Drafting and negotiating venture capital investment agreements, including NVCA forms.
• Leading negotiations of key terms in venture capital investment agreements.
• Supervising, training, and mentoring associates in all aspects of venture capital financing.
• Advising emerging companies on day-to-day operational matters, including board and stockholder communications, approvals, and equity awards.

This firm encourages working from the office approximately 3 days per week .

Qualifications

• JD or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Admission to or eligibility for admission to the Massachusetts Bar.
• At least four years of hands-on experience in venture capital and emerging company legal practice.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated professionalism and client engagement abilities.
• Strong prioritization skills, with a proven track record of meeting deadlines and managing multiple tasks.
• Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
