Medical Physicist Job Description Medical Physicist Job Summary Consults with Oncologists on the physical and radiobiological aspect of a patient's treatment and the development of treatment plans. Works collaboratively with all staff members, including Radiation Therapists and Dosimetrists, to ensure accurate delivery of treatments. Assure the accurate acquisition and storage of data for treatment plans. Responsible for the physical aspects of all radiation sources. Assist the department Manager / Director in training and mentoring staff, monitoring the work of Radiation Therapists and Dosimetrists. Key Responsibilities Consults with Oncologists on treatment plans. Collaborates with Radiation Therapists and Dosimetrists to ensure accurate treatment delivery. Ensures accurate acquisition and storage of treatment plan data. Maintains responsibility for the physical aspects of all radiation sources.
