Robert Scheele DDS is seeking a skilled and compassionate Full-Time Dental Assistant to join our team! As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with our dentists and other team members to provide exceptional dental care to our patients as well as perform light administrative duties. We have a small team so each of us are cross-trained to help in every department. If you have a positive attitude, avoid drama and love dentistry and enjoy working with fun professionals, we would consider you to join our Fort Wayne family!

Schedule :

  • Monday 8am - 5pm (1 hr lunch)
  • Tuesday 8 am - 5 pm (1 hr lunch)
  • e / o Wednesday 9 am - 2 pm (admin duties)
  • Thursday 7 am - 3 pm (no lunch)
  • Friday 7 am - 2 pm (no lunch)

Compensation :

  • $20-$24 per hour (Commensurate with experience)

    Requirements

  • X-Ray certification in state of Indiana required
  • EFDA preferred but not required
  • Coronal Polish / Sealant Certification preferred but not required
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Chairside dental assisting with a wide range of general dentistry procedures
  • Sterilization protocols to OSHA regulations
  • CPR certification
  • Computer efficiency- charting and scheduling
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to build lasting relationships with teammates and patients
  • Integrity-focused work ethic
  • Team-player attitude
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Open-minded to new systems / techniques, direction and feedback
