Construction Administrator

Troy OR Grand Rapids, MI

Direct Hire / Permanent Placement

Salary D.O.E., Full benefits, Hybrid / flex sched, Bonus, Profit Sharing, 34 days PTO (vaca, sick, holidays)

THE CLIENT

This particular client is a mid-sized A&E Firm (200 ppl) who work on a wide variety of projects, including : Mission Critical / Data Centers, Healthcare, Science & Tech, Education, Sports stadiums, , Hi-rise / multi-unit residential, mixed-use, etc.

ROLE / RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Demonstrated understanding of construction practices and methodologies
  • Present technical design solutions to clients and Contractors
  • Construction site visits to gather information, answer contractor questions and prepare punch list as owner‚ representative, resolve on-site construction issues
  • Mentor and train more junior staff
  • Technical and administrative supervision of the multi-disciplinary project staff assuring the technical, administrative, and schedule targets are met
  • Lead the on-site Construction Administration process on projects

REQUIRED / HIGHLY PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • BS degree in Architecture or similar
  • 8+ years of experience
  • Architectural Registration is required
  • LEED AP or LEED BD+C accreditation is preferred
  • Revit
