The Role

Amphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking aCustomer Quality Technician to work out of its state-of-the-art facility in Sidney, NY.

The key responsibilities of this Customer Quality Technician include, but are not limited to :

Technical support of customer quality issues / escapes

Regular communication with customer via phone, email, and occasional on-site visits

Customer quality documentation review through PO’s

Support of corrective action responses based on customer escape issues and data

RMA product review and disposition

Maintain a working knowledge of product workmanship standards & quality procedures manual

Ability to read and understand technical drawings, specs. , and documents

Screening / inspecting product on-site at customer facilities when needed

20 Minute Drive from Oneonta, NY

Salary : $50,000 - $65,000

The Person

The key skills and qualities of a Customer Quality Technician at Amphenol Aerospace Operations :

High school diploma and at least 5 years of applicable experience or an associate degree in a technical curriculum and one year of experience is required

Equivalent education and experience are acceptable

Microsoft Office and Data3 software

Bending, sitting, typing, lifting, standing, driving etc.

Daily could be up to a total of 4-5 hours total for any one

10%-25% travel in support of customer quality issues
