Staffmark has partnered with a heating equipment supplier company in Pico Rivera, CA, to fill a Logistics Coordinator role. Schedule: 8:00 am 4:30 pm, Monday Friday Pay Rate: $25 $30/hr.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage and optimize logistics and supply chain operations to ensure timely, cost-effective deliveries.
2. Communicate with customers, vendors, brokers, and carriers to coordinate shipments and resolve delivery issues.
3. Prepare and maintain shipping documentation, including BOLs, invoices, and certificates of origin.
4. Obtain freight quotes, schedule shipments, manage claims, and verify broker billing accuracy.
5. Assist with packing, loading, and unloading materials using forklifts; operate company stake truck for deliveries as needed.
6. Collaborate with manufacturing and vendors to prepare and package products for shipment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED; 35 years' experience in logistics, shipping/receiving, or warehouse operations.
• Knowledge of Incoterms, shipping methods (FOB, Prepaid/Add), and logistics documentation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; manufacturing job costing experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills with a sense of urgency.
• Forklift certification and a clean driving record required.
