Key Responsibilities

Support a team of reporters and fellows to ensure adherence to story standards and audience needs

Design and implement coverage plans leveraging audience insights and reporter expertise

Edit and prepare stories for publication across various formats and collaborate with team members

Required Qualifications

4+ years of experience editing and assigning stories in a newsroom

Demonstrated news judgment and ability to publish audience-centered stories

Experience with content management systems like WordPress and audience analytics tools

Ability to work creatively and collaboratively with journalists

Experience using digital tools for communication and collaboration in a remote setting
